Film Bus Regulations

The 19th Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival

Entry Conditions

  • The Festival accepts films made in school programs, universities or professional institutes only.
  • Registration of films can be done by the school’s representative only.
  • The Festival accepts films in the following categories: Fiction, Documentary, Animation and Experimental.
  • The maximum duration of each film must not exceed 25 minuets.
  • Submitted films must have been completed between 2013-2017.
  • All films submitted must be in final cut form. No alterations can be done to any film once submitted.
  • A student that his/her film has been chosen, or a member of his/her team (either director, screenwriter, cinematographer, editor, producer) must be able to participate in The Film Bus Project taking place in Israel.

Registration & Program

  • In case of acceptance, the information submitted will be used in the festival catalogue and website. No changes in the text will be accepted.
  • Film submitted to the Film Bus Project, could also be submitted to competition categories in the festival.
  • The Film Bus Project management reserves the right for pre-selection of the films.
  • Films must be fit for a general (G rated) audience
  • Films must include ‘built-in’ English subtitles, including English speaking films.
  • Registration deadline: February 13th, 2017
  • Deadline for screening copies of accepted films : April 10th, 2017

In Case of Acceptance

Selected films must send the following no later than 10.4.2017

The following material via e-mail to filmbus.contents@gmail.com:

  1.   The film file in high screening resolution (on mov or mp4 format).
  2.  3 still pictures taken from the film.
  3.  SRT file of the English subtitles.
  4.  3 pictures of the student participating in the project.

By mail:

  1. A hard copy of the film (DVD or USB drive) in high screening resolution – In addition for the PC file sent by email. This will be used for backup. Address for sending the following by mail:

Delivering hard copies of the film is under the responsibility of the school\student submitting it. The festival takes full responsibility of the films once they have arrived at the festival offices.

Copyright:

 

The rights owner permits the Student Film Festival (including The Film Bus Project) full access to the film, to the text written about it in the registration forms and to the still pictures attached. These will be used freely by the Student Film Festival for PR and marketing prior and during the Student Film Festival.

∙    The owner of the copyrights authorizes the Student Film Festival and The Film Bus Project to screen their film with no limitation during the dates of the Student Film Festival and The Film Bus Project, in different places in Israel and in an Israeli TV Channel.

∙    The owner of the copyrights authorizes the Student Film Festival to keep a copy of the film in the Festival archive and in the Tel Aviv University archive.

תקנון ותנאי השתתפות בפרויקט אוטובוס הסרטים
הפסטיבל הבינלאומי ה-19 לסרטי סטודנטים

 

 

רשאים להגיש:

  • ההרשמה לתחרות אפשרית דרך בתי ספר בלבד, פניות עצמאיות לא תתקבלנה.
  • ההגשה לאוטובוס הסרטים פתוחה רק לסרטי סטודנטים/יות אשר הופקו במסגרת לימודיהם/ן במוסד על- תיכוני פעיל המעניק תעודה מקצועית או תואר מוכר על ידי המועצה להשכלה גבוהה בתחומי הקולנוע, הטלוויזיה, האנימציה והמדיה הדיגיטלית.
  • על הסרטים להיות ׳לכל המשפחה׳ ונקיים מתכנים פוגעניים, שכן ההקרנות פתוחות לקהל הרחב מכל הגילאים.
  • על יוצרי הסרטים להיות סטודנטים בעלי ניסיון של לפחות שנתיים של לימודים מלאים במסגרת בית הספר מטעמו נשלח סרטם. במקרה של לימודי תואר שני, ניתן להגיש סרטים של סטודנטים בעלי ניסיון של שנה בתואר.
  • ניתן להגיש ואף להתקבל לתחרות נוספת בפסטיבל במקביל להשתתפות באוטובוס הסרטים.

 

תכנית:

  • אורך הסרט לא יעלה על 25 דקות.
  • ניתן להגיש סרטים בקטגוריות: עלילתי, תיעודי, ניסיוני ואנימציה.
  • ניתן להגיש סרטים שהפקתם הסתיימה בין השנים 2013 ל-2017.
  • לא יתקבלו סרטים ללא כתוביות באנגלית.

 

הרשמה:

  • מועד אחרון להרשמה: 13.2.2017
  • ההרשמה מתבצעת באתר האינטרנט של הפסטיבל באמצעות סיסמא.
  • הסרטים המתקבלים לפרויקט יהוו גרסאות סופיות, לא יתקבלו לאחר מכן גרסאות חלופיות.
  • סטודנט שלא יעמוד בלוחות הזמנים שייקבע הפסטיבל ולא יגיש תיק הרשמה מלא לא ישתתף באוטובוס הסרטים.
  • יש להקפיד למלא את טופס ההרשמה באופן מדויק. נוסח הטקסט כפי שמממולא יופיע בקטלוג ובאתר הפסטיבל.
  • הנהלת האוטובוס והפסטיבל שומרת לעצמה את הזכות לבחירה מוקדמת של הסרטים שישתתפו באוטובוס.

 

לאחר הקבלה לפרויקט:

 

סטודנטים/ות שסרטיהם/ן יתקבלו לפרויקט יתבקשו לשלוח את הדברים הבאים לא יאוחר מ-10.4.2017 לכתובת: Filmbus.contents@gmail.com

מועד אחרון לקבלת עותקי הקרנה: 10.4.2017

 

  1. הסרט המלא באיכות וברזולוציה גבוהה (1920 1080 Xקובץ MOV או MP4).
  2. שלוש תמונות סטילס מתוך הסרט
  3. כתוביות באנגלית בקובץ SRT, אין לשלוח סרטים עם כתוביות המובנות בווידיאו עצמו.
  4. שלושה צילומי פורטרט של הסטודנט/ית המשתתפת בפרויקט.

 

  • בנוסף יש להעביר עותק קשיח של הסרט על דיסק חיצוני USB או בדיסק DVD לכתובת:

  • הובלת עותקי ההקרנה אל משרדי הפסטיבל הינה באחריות היוצרים בלבד.

 

זכויות יוצרים:

 

  • ברישום הסרט לאוטובוס הסרטים, מסכימים בעלי זכויות היוצרים של הסרט לאפשר שימוש חופשי בתמונות הסטילס שיישלחו לפסטיבל, וכן שימוש בקטע מהסרט בפורמט שיידרש (עד 4 דקות) למטרת שידור במסגרות שידור שונות, לצורך יחסי ציבור ושיווק.
  • בעל/ת זכויות היוצרים מאשר/ת את הקרנת הסרט במסגרת הקרנות חוצות לא מסחריות ברחבי הארץ במהלך החודש הקודם לפסטיבל סרטי הסטודנטים, וכן במהלך שבוע מסע אוטובוס הסרטים.
  • במידה והסרט נבחר להשתתף באוטובוס, בעל/ת זכויות היוצרים מתחייב/ת לספק לפסטיבל עותק של הסרט בפורמט שיידרש להקרנה במהלך המסע.
  • במידה והסרט נבחר להשתתף באוטובוס, מאשרים בעלי זכויות היוצרים יצירת עותק של הסרט עבור ארכיון הסינמטק וארכיון האוניברסיטה.
  • במידה ונבחר, הקרנת הסרט במסגרת אירועי האוטובוס מותנית בהשתתפות אחד מיוצרי הסרט מאחד ממקצועות הקולנוע השונים: בימוי, הפקה, צילום, עריכה, וארט.
