The Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, in collaboration with the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, is proud to present the “Her Streets” project.

Over the past year, the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality has established nine new streets and institutions named after great women of Israeli culture: actresses, singers, directors and creators: Ahuva Ozeri, Shoshana Damari, Hanna Maron, Ofra Haza, Anda Amir, Ronit Alkabetz, Zaharira Harifai, Yaffa Yarkoni and Deborah Omer.

At the beginning of 2022 and as part of the “Her Streets” project, nine young filmmakers were invited on a cinematic journey following the same cultural heroines. Filmmakers at the beginning of their careers researched the works of these great women. They were accompanied artistically by screenwriter Batel Mosari and made 2-4 minute short films inspired by them. 

We are proud to present you these nine short films; documentaries, scripted and even one animated movie, which bestow great honor on nine memorable creators.

The event will be held in Hebrew.
