Nestled amidst a landscape shadowed by conflict, the "Home is not here" photography exhibition unveils the narratives of youth evacuated from their homes after October 7. Set in Netanya, Tel Aviv, and Ein Yahav, these youth grapple with adaptation amid displacement. Embarking on this journey six months ago, I ventured into analogue photography workshops with teenagers and young adults, aged 13-20, from Kiryat Shmona, Kibbutz Ra'im, and Eshkol Regional Council. Tasked with documenting their "intermediate situation," their playful ingenuity unveiled a world teeming with spontaneity and enchantment through their lenses. These photographs, brimming with moments of joy and connection, defy expectations, showcasing the tenacity of youth. Through this exhibition, we bear witness to photography's transformative prowess, offering a therapeutic balm to youthful souls and an enchanting lens into life's resilience beyond despair.
