The White Walls of the Israeli Cinema
The White Walls of the Israeli Cinema
A conversation between cinematographers and art designers about the joint process of designing and painting the cinematic frame.
The ‘White Walls’ concept represents our favorite films and series in Israeli cinema - films characterized by a white wall that fills the frame. Sometimes it is due to a lack of budget and sometimes as a metaphor. Leading cinematographers and art designers from the industry will participate in the panel to talk about the transition from the written script to the visual world rich in cinematic expression. The purpose of the dialogue is to develop joint thinking and planning in order to paint the white wall and provide an additional layer to the frame, even in low budget productions.
