At this event, we gather to remember and celebrate the life of Maya Puder, who was murdered on October 7 at the Nova party. Maya was a special, funny, and loving girl, who always carried a joyful light. Inspired by Maya's love of singing and dancing, and with the support of her mother Ayala, we have chosen to host an interactive screening of the film “Mamma Mia!” in her memory. Ayala shared that while Maya was not really a talented singer, her passion for singing was immense. During the event, we will play Maya's favorite film and invite everyone to stand up, sing, dance, and have fun—just as Maya would have done. We aim to create moments of joy and happiness together, embodying Maya's silly, radiant, and happy spirit.

Maya was a freshman at the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television, known for her patience and willingness to help everyone. Last year, she volunteered at the festival, bringing light and love to all involved.
