How do you convey emotion, feeling and experience in a short, animated film? This project goes out to explore the limits of our imagination and the creation of worlds, feelings and sensations with the help of the endless possibilities of cinematic animation.
The Makor Foundation for Israeli Films (NPO) in collaboration with TISFF presents for the 6th year the short animation project, in which the Makor Foundation awards a production grant of up to NIS 150,000 for selected projects in short animation format by a promising filmmaker.
From the submitted projects, seven proposals were selected, which, after two months of mentoring and guidance, will be presented at a pitching event before a panel of judges during the week of the festival. Two proposals will then be selected to receive a production grant, and the finished films will be shown in a pre-premiere screening at the TISFF 2024.
